So..besides wood stove or furnace
Pellet ones

Or on south and or west exposure
Build simple solar heat collectors
Or add solar and or wind generators and if stream on property then hydo mini plant

All can be self made
Of course many other ways as well

Lucky im on a fixed tariff till next year then mine will double in uk ,mother in-laws gas and electric as gone from £60 a month last August to £175 a month now!! Cant see how power and fuel companies dare post record profits

You order the solar panels from stores online, like Walmart and home depot. Then, you put them on your roof or beside your home, even on the tent if you must...
You get the appropriate power output station-. It's a battery with plugs coming out-. And then you have solar. Wind is also available.
