@Atlotto the good ol days.
@Atlotto
The first video to air on MTV was one emblematic of MTV's concept, the Buggles' "Video Killed the Radio Star", which was then immediately followed by a brief message about music and television coming together and then "You Better Run" by Pat Benatar.

Yes. It was on in the family room.
I assumed that everyone who watched the vids and danced to "Back to Ohio" was against having our city be "gone". They were not. They were against letting me sing and play guitar and they punched so hard I thought they were great people,! No. just trash strewn around my living room.

I loved it until rap started stinking up the station.

Is there even a TV channel today that plays music videos all the time? I just have OTA stations, no streaming or cable etc.

@Punches I don't think so. Kids aren't even into videos anymore, I think, it's kinda gone full circle

@Punches i dont think MTV use to be about music but lost its identity & became a reality tv channel

@MsSwan I was looking through my 8th grade year book the other day, every girl, even the nerdy ones, had big hair.

I imagine our children and grand children would be mortified to see that.
@Punches I don't have any children, lol.

My nephew would think it's funny though.
