Currently less than the top 1% make more than the bottom 99% combine.
20 years ago it was the top 10% making more than the bottom 90%.

In the 1980s that's when the massive gap started!

So by your reasoning today is the best decade!

In my opinion, the early, mid and late 1980's as well as the early-to-mid 1990's was the best era for music, movies television programs and video games.
