I Like Ancient History

My father is a history professor, and it was he who first sparked my interest in history.

I feel there have been innovative periods throughout history, but none as much as in ancient times, so my interest is with ancient history.

Actually, the 500 hundred years between 1500 - 2000 witnessed an explosion of innovation, considering it was just five centuries. If we look at "ancient history", we're looking at a period of thousands or years (roughly 5000 BC - 300 AD) so in 5000 plus years, there HAD to be a lot of innovation...
