I Love History
In my previous post, I mentioned photographer Eadweard Muybridge. He's probably more known for his work as a photographer, but here's a story you may not know. In 1874, he discovered that another man may have fathered his wife's child. He nonchalantly tracked the man down, then shot him.
He said, "Good evening, Major. My name is Muybridge, and here's the answer to the letter you sent my wife." BAM! He shot him. He was acquitted on the grounds of "justifiable homicide."
