Event: On March 8, 1386, the Treaty of Windsor was signed between England and Portugal.This treaty was a landmark agreement between the Kingdom of England and the Kingdom of Portugal. It established a strong alliance between the two countries, and it remains one of the oldest military alliances in history. The treaty included provisions for mutual defense and economic cooperation



1702Anne Stuart, sister of Mary II, becomes Queen regant of England, Scotland, and Ireland after William III died in a riding accident.


Event: On March 8, 1900, the first section of the London Underground was expanded
