The Black Culture Of The Dance.
Unknown to most the Black inspired dances is where most of the dances developed in America from the late 19th century /20th century on, dances like .... . Even the moves of Elvis Presley were Black generated. Reports indicate he loved Black music and dance. He spied on Black juke joints, attended Black churches, raised in an area where Blacks frequented. They crowned him king of rock and roll though a Black man Chuck Berry introduced it. As did the Whites, you didn't see a movie that had dance or a dance show such as Dick Clark where they were not doing dances such as the Charleston, the swing, The jerk, The twist the watusi.

Jitterbug ...... Boogaloo ...... Tap (rooted from African slaves combined with Irish step dancing)....... The Twist ....... The Jerk ....... The Mashed Potatoes ........ Break Dancing ....... Hip Hop ....... Harlem shuffle ........ Line Dancing ....... The Twerk ....... Cabbage patch ....... Running Man........ And More in between.

Even thousands of years ago Africa had her influences on the dances of the tribes as they migrated, each establishing their own brand of the African Dance. Heart and soul of the Earth.
