Alexander Graham Bell purchased the rights to Mr Woods patents and filed law suits against Mr Woods for his for usage of it on the railway system - Alexander Graham Bell LOST THE CASE - Woods inventions were crucial components to the telephone, shame on you Alexander Graham Bell......... Woods later opened Woods Electrical Company......... Accredited to him is also inventions allowing trolley cars to run on electric currents instead of steam and automatic air brake which will slow our stop the train, dead man switch. 60 patents up under his name.
