Another example of the Trump administration trying to erase black history—in Europe !

Anyone else want to claim Donald Trump isn’t a racist/white supremacist ?

Hopefully, after Trump' Presidentship ends, and whichever party form the next US government, all his damage will be put right: the names replaced, the records brought out of hiding, his name removed from public buildings.

Has anyone has told Trump that those black American troops fighting alongside their white mess-mates in WW2 against the Nazis, were fighting to destroy a tyranny that treated coloured as well as Jewish people as untermenschen?

Does he not know that the original names of 19C forts in America were of the generals who founded them or colonists builng towns ther; not ones he picked out from much more recent officers?

Are these all his own ideas, or is he being manipulated by would-be powers behind the throne?

He is dragging his own country down in the eyes of the world - baffling and dismaying the USA's friends, pleasing her enemies - but he, his inner circle and many of his fans, seem unable to realise it. Or do, but don't care.
@ArishMell He’s capable of doing these things himself; even during his previous term he wouldn’t listen to his advisers when they tried to get him off (what was then) Twitter. But, considering his age and the rumors about mental health decline, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone weren’t egging him on. They wouldn’t have to push hard, though. Trump’s been a bigot since he was a young man.

@bijouxbroussard I have wondered if he's becoming worse, less rational; though I reserve judgement on whether by mental health problems or by political pressures.
