So, Why DID Americans accept the Iraq invasion even though they knew there were no WMD's?

It's a bit late, it's normal and traditional for the USA now, of course.

They didn't. Most Americans opposed the war. That's why all of the Republicans who supported the war would later pretend they were always against it.

@BohoBabe wow, you're right. We even took our babies to that one Saturday demonstration in March, eleven million people on the West Coast against invading Iraq - I guess I forgot we even knew before hand we'd lied!
