A History lesson: The 1905 Russian Uprising

The Russian revolution of 1905 began in a non-violent manner. On February 23 of that year, a peaceful procession of around 120 thousand unarmed civilians led by father Georgy Gapon, a Russian Orthodox priest, approached the Tsar’s winter palace in an attempt to present a petition asking for help from the Tsar himself. The people were suffering terribly from dire poverty and poor working conditions. At that point, people still regarded the Tsar as their protector and accepted him as the autocratic ruler. They didn’t blame him for all of the problems in Russia, but his advisors and the members of the civil service.

However, the Tsar’s army misread the situation and opened fire on the crowd, killing and injuring hundreds of protestors. The massacre became known as "Bloody Sunday." This was perhaps the most important event that triggered the 1905 revolution and heralded a downward spiral of all the problems in Russia at the time. It led to the revolution of 1917 and overthrow of the Czarist regime.

This should be a lesson to the American oligarchy of today. As President John F. Kennedy said, "If peaceful revolution becomes impossible, violent revolution becomes inevitable."

Borrowing from the Biden / US Democratic playbook .. the French govt took out up and coming National Rally party leader and Presidential candidate Marine Le Pen and 20 other lawmakers and parliamentary assistants !!

Questionable "embezzlement" charges were used to convict, fine and place her on 2 yrs house arrest and ban her from seeking political office for 5 years.

So much for French democracy!

@BrandNewMan Thats terrible! Just because someone is dihonest and has a history of stealing shouldnt ban them from elected office.. SHOULD IT?😷
@whowasthatmaskedman

She is not accused now or before of stealing you lying @$$. Its more contrived stuff about misallocation of funds used to pay staff .. some who worked on both Party and EU parliament work instead of just EU parliament. Not fecking stealing at all, now is it?

That aside .. Should it make a difference here after Joe Biden accepted money laundered by Hunter for access from foreign governments? Stacey Abrams seeing $2Billion in tax payer funded money in form of an EPA grant to "environmental group" she had only recently formed and had virtually no history behind it, immediately following her activities to interfere with an election by pursuing frivilous actions against a candidate? Certainly not im that kind of direct personal benefit of actual fraud now is it?

Apparently it doesn't matter here except to conservative voters who had the chance to look at the situation and decide for themselves what to believe instead of blindly following the media and chose to vote to end the Biden Harris administration. The French are taking that away over administrative discrepancies.

@BrandNewMan No. She is convicted of embezzlement. Defined as "taking funds that dont belong to you" And a small tip.. Descending to personal insult is often a sign you have no wasy of supporting your arguments on the facts.. Its not a good look..😷
@whowasthatmaskedman It was stated in multiple sources as I described .. so I'm supposed to believe you instead? Sorry, not gonna happen.

You've not a thing supporting she did anything different than I said ir took the funds for herself do you? Being a liar isnt a good look either there, mate, and you do it on a perpetual basis.

@BrandNewMan When restating a lie over and over, try to find a credible source to back your half @$$ed claim. Like this: (and its even better if your point is mentioned in the titles.. You can do better...😷

@whowasthatmaskedman The "term" for the charge was not my point as much as what it really amounts to in reality, which I described absolutely correctly to what is stated when looking at the story and not just the title.

We've spent years seeing the left here demonize their opposition with "damning terms" that are not appropriate to the true nature of things, if not truly fabricated entirely. Trump was "convicted" of exaggerating property value on a loan fully vetted and accepted by a bank that did not file a claim of fraud.
The charge was filed by a prosecuter who vowed to charge him and went out and created a case to pursue. A leftist judge determined a different value on the property that was well below market value of lesser properties rather than having real estate professionals do it. The legal system can be as corrupt as any one going through it here .. and quite possibly .. in France.

@BrandNewMan Ahh.. So I wasnt wrong. I was just right about the question you asked. Not the one you meant to ask. Got it..I have a couple of decades of interpretting politicians. You are out of your depth. If I were you I would just let it go...😷
@whowasthatmaskedman Dude you talk in circles .. I didn't ask a question .. not once in this string. I posted a statement and info on it. Talk about out of one's element ..

@BrandNewMan Your words: "She is not accused now or before of stealing you lying @$$." Now if you dont think missapropriating funds from the EU is stealing, maybe you are a lawyer. But most of us regular folk think it might be.
Now I am done with you. Go troll someone else..🖕
