Do you think Andrew Jackson was a good president?

Some of my relatives walked the Trail of Tears.

I will say, Jackson wanted to purchase the land known as Tejas, from Mexico, but Sam Houston ignored him and wanted to fight for it, and the result was many people were killed. All this BS about The Alamo and San Jacinto could have been avoided.

Not So Fun Fact: Mexico had outlawed slavery...but Tejas was wanted for its ability to expand the cotton industry and along with it, slavery.
