He is referring to the moros who are one of the groups of people [b]native[/b] to modern day Philippines who just converted to the religion of Islam( By the way moros is the name that was given to them by the Spanish but they adapted it )
When America colonized the Philippines, they resisted severely and apparently
They’r terr*rist for resisting foreign colonialism simply because their religion happens to be Islam.
Excuse me sir , did they go to America or did you go to their home? So why are you b*tching about the consequences of your actions?

Mind you at that time there were many other forms of resistance against the American colonization of the Philippines by different groups and faiths but trump does not mention it here for some mysterious clearly not for modern day political reasons.
The only message I’m getting from Trump here is that the people who follow the Islamic religion of any ethnic group tend to be more brave and have more dignity and the USA struggles to put them under its imperial feet .

Led to disease famine and murdér of countless civilians of the Filipino people driven by American greed and imperialism
He also forgot the part where the civilized Americans sent Filipino civilians to c*ncentration camps or used to bury moros with pigs and put pig grease on bullets.

I always love how evangelical American Christians try to act morally superior and that Christianity spread by peace

Or claim that this is what Christianity preaches
But please drop the unfathomable
Facade.

The spread of Christianity is a heavy result of endless occupations, w@rs, conquests , colonialism and settler colonialism.

I honestly don't think he forgot any of that. Reinstating concentration camps for anyone who isn't a white Christian is exactly what he is planning. Project 2025 is basically an English translation of the Nazi playbook.

You are from the Netherlands so you probably heard of
Jan Pieterszoon Coen.
There are many status and places named after him there.
After all he is a “hero” to the Dutch.

He was a Christian and he killed and enslaved almost all the inhabitants of the Banda islands including women and children.
He destroyed the mosques and burnt almost the whole banda islands to the ground.

“ Coen depopulated the islands to such a degree he massacred about 14.400 people in Banda, about 800 of whom were transferred to Batavia”

This is what I’m saying.
I don’t get why the Christians lie to me on similar worlds and say Christians throughout history have been peaceful and all other religions been barbaric.

@Moon3624 yes, he used to be considered quite the hero. I'm proud of our government fairly recently passing a law that historical context must be added to statues, street names, etc. They don't have to be removed/renamed, but an extra sign must explain why they got their honorary symbol (how they shaped history despite it being in a horrible day), but also how those actions would not be accepted anymore today, let alone be seen as honorary.

I think that's much better than removing every trace.
