I love ancient history.

I study it a lot both in class and in my spare time. I explore local ruins I have in my area (not in a way that disturbs the site I will say) I also love learning about Roman, Greek and Egyptian Cultures and their Architecture.

And while it might not tie into proper history I also love the mythology from such cultures.

Just a suggestion.

Try to include other cultures. Like Oriental, Hindu, Sumerian, Assyrian. The list is longer yet just your three is a bit limited and often encouraged in the Western world.

Studying history is like opening a book over and over again with the story having been changed each time :-)

@jshm2 You obviously don't appreciate history. And she said she doesn't disturb the sites. I love history and have spent years exploring ancient native American ruins, ghost towns, mines, cave dwellings ,petroglyphs etc,etc and I don't trespass, disturb , or vandalize any of these sites. I visit sites on public land and if on private land I get permission. Nothing illegal or destructive about what I do. You should get off your couch
This is why I still browse the politics and news section.

I am right there with you. Love exploring and learning about history. I am fortunate enough to live in the desert southwestern USA and we have so many places with a rich history and much of it is well preserved in our dry climate.

Like these 700-900 y.o. cliff dwellings in central Arizona on public land and very hard to get to.

I like the middle ages too. Especially the Roman Empire

You're a lore nerd. But so am I. Maybe you'd like RPG games?
