"human beings" didn't exist "millions of years ago". they are a rather recent evolutionary development. even precursor hominids like Neanderthals and Denisovans did not exist 'millions of years ago"
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@SusanInFlorida homo sapiens happens to be around 300,000 years ago scientifically as per the narrative of the scientists.

The biggest catalyst was the agricultural revolution. That freed up time for humans to actually sit around and think instead of spending time just surviving by hunting & gathering. Also advances come exponentially as we can see in the era we live. Not too much happened the first thousand years AD. Revolutions like the industrial revolution greatly speed up advances. Advances aren't always gradual and at the same pace. Now we are in the information/computer revolution and you can see the insane advances in just the last 30 years.
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@JimboSaturn Still, taking 300, 000 years to get an idea of starting agriculture is something vague. It is more like creating history just for the sake of creating something.

@TheOrionbeltseeker Most species dont develop any culture. If you are just trying to survive you dont have the luxury of inventing things. Plus we did invent things like fire, rock tools, spears and other things. Think how hard it is when you know absolutely nothing! We also have archeology to prove all this. Is this just a young earth post?

deviation by a wide margin while landing.
Somewhere, I have heard that the necessity is the mother of all inventions. Ofcourse no other things creates as solid necessity as the instinct of survival.
Look above. It is what I was talking about. The man was here. Here were stones. Here were forests. Here were all the wild animals. Fire would have been come to man instantly, maybe the whole 50 initial years or maybe, if dad was busy playing chess, son would get it in another 50 years so, total, a Hundred years, I give it 500 years if his motto was survival and if man was more intelligent than dogs and cats.
Look 👆. I say for 500 years, they knew nothing, just ate, slept, procreated. For this statement of yours, I give them 2000 years to find fire but No more than that
Exactly, I am just linking the fibers of the weak points of Archaeology..
Is this just a young earth post?
You yet do not know what's inside the Earth, you only have thesis of Earth formation, not one but more than 100s, a few important ones. That is assumption based. The phrase often used is
Most species dont develop any culture
deviation by a wide margin while landing.

There are 20,000 years of cave paintings in a Spanish cave spanning 35,000 BCE to 15,000BCE. It’s hard to imagine that humanity made zero progress in over 20,000 years, each generation living exactly like their forebears 1000 generations earlier.
Something about our ancient history doesn’t make sense.

I think it is another narrative that we were waiting on megafauna to be all killed and disappear considering the fact that all the animals are scared of fire.

@TheOrionbeltseeker Why is everything a narrative with you? Have you never watched any science and history shows or any educational television?
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@JimboSaturn Probably you haven't checked out some important post modernist theories. But I am not surprised. The way you were conditioned to Learn, it's all showing up now. You were made to learn everything without questioning.

Maybe humans have made advanced civilizations a number of times before but there was a calamity that caused humanity to reset
Pfuzylogic · M
i find that the human race was pretty advanced with civilizations and languages back then. This evolution of humans i find to be garbage myself and don’t “believe” in cavemen!

Well it took us less time to build rockets and travel to the Moon than it did to put wheels on a dustbin.

We must always reckon that the dating is always dependent on the theory on which it is based.
according to some reports, homosapiens have been on Earth for about 40,000 years, not millions.

@SW-User Its just another young earth post. This guy would definitely benefit from reading about archeology.

Even a basic education would be a start.
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@Sharon You people know probably by now that you are rote learners and you don't analyse the facts, the way some of us do. Learn analysing.
Rote learning is dangerous.
