Well the US never was imperialist really. Anti imperialist in reality.

@MasterLee Nah, one doesn't go from a little nubby on the east coast of North America to a hulking behemoth that spans an entire country by playing nice. The US has historically been incredibly imperialist; the only reason why we don't consider it an empire today is that it nearly annihilated the numerous peoples it successfully subjugated.

@MasterLee You're right. We didn't hurt the indigenous people, we just filled their hearts with so much love and hugs that they let us have all their land.
