Plaque in memory of King Robert 1 of Scotland, who wished for his heart to be buried in Jerusalem.

@Quimliqer King Rab hoped to lead a crusade to free the Holy Land from Islam, but was a bit preoccupied with freeing Scotland from the English instead. He died before he could go on crusade, so his old friend, James of Douglas, took his heart on crusade to Spain. Douglas died there, and the heart came back to Scotland.
When Scottish regiments helped kick the Ottomans out of the Holy Land in 1917/18, they put up the plaque.
