I Love History

It's astonishing to me that West Virginia and Appalachia went for Trump because of the Coal miners. I have to say the History of the Coal Corporations in Appalachia is one of exploitation of the appalachian farmers and land owners and mine workers.

The coal corporations got the farmers and land owners to sign away their mineral rights to the mines for pennies on the dollar and then extracted the coal and shipped it out to sell on the free market for energy.

Appalachia was exploited hardcore. And then the Coal mining jobs paid better than they were paid on their farms but the Coal corporations did things like spread Rumors about what the N*gger's were up to to racially divide and conquer to prevent their workers from unionizing.

They kept them fighting each other so they wouldn't join up and form a union.

They totally exploited the workers. The mine workers got screwed while the investors and gigantic industrialist benefited enormously.

You got played and screwed by the Coal Corporations. Why So loyal to them?

The coal miners weren't the only ones manipulated by big business. Sowing division among working people has long been a sport of Wall Street, media and conservatives.
