The Federal Reserve is in the process of being muzzled and tamed right now. Thats a fact. The next move will be to cut interest rates, probably with the excuse to stimulate the economy, (You remember that economy that was so great?) But the real reason is to make T Bond rates more attractive, trying to draw buyers. The next move will be to start printing more money, (call it quantitative easing) so everyone starts to feel like they have more, even though its not keeping up with costs.. And after this, a revaluation of gold will happen (upwards) making anyone who ones gold nominally richer in $.. These two things together will make it seem like America will have more money to pay its debts. But what will really be happening is that when T Bond sales come us, the Government will be using the printed cash to buy its own debt, because not enough other countries want it. And the banking regulation will probably be amped up to 'encourage" banks to buy more for "security", while they are already in fact top heavy with Treasury securities.. Great story.. But who cares.. Right?
This works for maybe six months.. Twelve at the outside, then inflation spikes hard enough to become a stone in your shoe and a pain in your @$$. And if nothing is done it becomes hyperinflation really quick.. Then the National Guard will be on the streets in every major city to control hungry people... You heard it here first..😷
