Does anyone here understand the difference in conspiracy to a theory?

A Theory is a thought.
A conspiracy is a plan.

A theory is a system of ideas intended to explain something.

A conspiracy usually refers to a (secret) group of people plotting something. Usually in conspiracy myths those plots are sinister.
