Does anyone here understand the difference in conspiracy to a theory?

A Theory is a thought.
A conspiracy is a plan.

The clue' is that 'conspiracy' is based on 'conspire' which means to 'actively intend to carry out an act or action which might be contrary to laws or rules' or something like that.
