Have you been brainwashed?

When I tell people I don’t vote (never have, probably never will), they always say I’m giving up my vote to the other side… what side? I never created any division between us, nor do I wish to. That’s absurdity and insanity. That’s how you die and destroy everything around you.

These labels and opposing sides are FAKE. People eat up with politics think if you don’t agree with them, you’re against them 😆 Whoaaaaa! I didn’t create this system and neither did you and if you think either party is for the people, you aren’t paying attention like you think you are.

If you think what you hear is the truth, if you think this gonna work out, you need to turn off the news and watch the history channel. Or science, or something with actual facts or even alternating theories to ponder and open up those portions of your brain. Because it’s been washed 🧠🧼

Public servants stopped being public servants long ago.

It's all about special interests and companies with the almighty dollar and always will be. The rest of the news is complete lip service bullsh*t.

Incidentally, the History Channel is a good reminder, to all of us, that not getting your vote in, will make bad history repeat itself.

It's about learning from history, right? that is in addition to the intellectual simulation one gets from being information, so you can do well on a trivia game.

Hopefully not. I'm not terribly political. I do not believe for a second that anyone in politics gives a fuck about anyone in my demographic.

@uncalled4 Nope 😆 They promote instability. I can theorize many reasons but the fact is we all see it, I don’t understand why that’s not what we go for. Instead we pick at each other 😆 We need to get THEM 😆

The distinction between progressive and regressive is no more "fake" than is the difference between on/off, or night/day, or apple/orange, or between being pro-slavery and abolitionist

Giving up your vote to the other side is simple math—if nobody comes out to vote for choice A (even if those staying home would more naturally gravitate to choice A over choice B), and just a handful of people show up to vote for choice B, the people who stayed home helped choice B win, even if barely anyone showed up to vote at all.

But if you legit believe being abolitionist and pro-slavery are somehow magically the same thing, then you specifically as an outlier perhaps did not give up your vote to either "side". And if you legit believe that they are the same thing, it's you who is brainwashed.

Incidentally the "History" Channel is only reality tv like Ice road Truckers, Axe Men, anymore, and the home of pseudoscience/pseudohistory nonsense like Ancient Aliens, Curse of Oak Island, and Skin Walker Ranch (a show created by a real estate developer who trademarked a lot of stuff to make money). It's as much of a joke as something calling itself originally The Learning Channel giving a dingbat like Sarah Palin a reality tv show.

Maybe it's a good idea to turn off all television and actually read journalism, science, health, and other (accredited) sources. Of course, the Goop website would not be a legit source of health or science, so you still have to recognize BS from reality no matter where you focus your attention.
