I can't wait to hit the field! I want to study the Neanderthals. I have a hypothesis which explains their disappearance.

How exciting and fascinating. I always assumed neanderthals could not compete with modern humans and were absorbed in to the modern human population.
Or eradicated.
What is your theory?

@Atrevido1 I think that they were smart and tough enough to survive 40,000 years during the pleistocene (ice age). I don't believe they were inferior.

@Nomad I may not be thinking outside the box as you would have to to really come up with good answers.
I assumed, it was due to modern human migration abilities, technology and sheer numbers.
Still. I side with Neanderthals.
You are brilliant and so lucky to be starting out in this amazing field
