Chuck Schumer better grow up and serve the nation, or he gets primaried.

I remember listening to the radio back in the halcyon days of my youth.
Every morning while having breakfast before school and sometimes on the weekends, I would be in the kitchen listening to the radio, mainly for the music and even when either my Mom or my Pops would drive my Sister and I to school, we'd listen to the radio.
To me, part of the allure was not knowing what song was going to be played next.

Remember though it's still basically two more months before they even get into office. Some analysis were saying a certain devil will go on a rampage. Especially with Iran.

@DeWayfarer I have been aware of that, but for the moment I am hoping for the best.

I do usually listen to Today but the programmes after it, starting at 9am, are far more uplifting than Today's endless coverage of US domestic politics and our own politicians dodging awkward questions.
If I switch to the music channel, it's often in Women's Hour when they start discussing intimate female health matters (serious subject but not for septagenarian bachelors), interviewing some American pesudo-intellectual with laryngitis about her latest book, or promoting some American would-be proving her singing inability! Any of those three send me to the safe calm and warmth of Radio Three.
Not R2. Even if I like some of the older pop-records I don't like being patronised by over-matey presenters and pointless phone-calls.
Certainly not R1. That's purely rap/dance-club/chart material for teenagers. It used to cover all genres of pop and rock but long ago became very narrow-minded in its own field.
At least the BBC is mercifully free of semi-illiterate advertisements for nothing I want or need.

I think America is waking up to the idea that that fruitless war with Iran must stop. If only for world trade and boost its Economy.
But stopping it is not easy, unless Iran wants to trade. China needs its oil so has some leverage. It also wants oil from the Gulf States and Saudi Arabia. Iran and Saudi Arabia are both BRICS nations.
But the fly in the ointment is Isreal. It will do it’s own thing, and has no interest in world solutions.
Trump is now a lame duck but can still do a lot of harm. The Republican Party will reassess. And the Democrats can find a new leader. It will be an interesting two years. With many unpredictable players and Countries having their say.
