Anthropic is about to go public and issued the required IPO Perspective. It's 95 pages and goes, among other things, over financial risks.

Among the potential risks: Catastrophic event that might end humanity. Well, duh, but it's not like in that eventuality, anyone is going to worry about their stock portfolio. 🤣

No - they'll sell their shares as rapidly as possible and use the money to stock up on their survivalist stuff! :)

It won't end humanity of course, but ironically the inhabitants of the more remote, least developed regions would have the greater chance of surviving.

Human greed says no one is going to sell, unless they's really young, already bought a sailboat, and looking to update from a Redwood City Marina mooring, to to a San Rafael slip.

Their next goal, is to raise the company value from $2T to $4T.
