Being old and weary, I stay silent a lot. I do have misgivings about technology outpasing experience. Always had them. I have a cousin who was part of the pioneering work on DNA-altered crops (Genetically Modified or GM crops). Never liked her, but then she was admired because of her academic achievements. Never heard her question her peers about their experiences though. No, somehow something in a magazine was more interesting than my uncle's adventures keeping his farm going. No, I'm very wary of these kind of people. They laugh too easily about the dirt still visible underneath the farmer's nails than taking any mishap on the farm seriously. Nature is indeed never a math's question.
