How about we get rid of the silly concept of left vs right. It is so outdated as be a joke. Forests have been burning for longer than mankind has walked the earth. If you really want to see poverty look at the Bolshevik revolution or the Holdomor or the Cultural Revolution or the fascist states.

@Roundandroundwego the left right label is not clarifying. It is confusing and a means of herd control. You cheer for the team and not think clearly about what needs to be done for the betterment of all mankind. We need to be like the trick rider at the rodeo that appears to be falling off the left then suddenly reverses to lean to the right. face backward one moment and forward the next. Public healthcare is a wonderful thing until it doesn't work. Having a strong army is good until it gets used for evil.

@hippyjoe1955 yes, the left right paradigm is essential to making sense, or just re-invent the wheel each time you drive.
Anti politics was meant to hobble you.
Four ways right and left always contradict each other -
1. War profits. Right ideology is okay with war profits being legal, left never is okay with was profits being legal.
2. The basic responsibility of states to support the population and their environment with sustainable economic systems.Right ideology denies the government responsibility, left assumes it's absolute.
3. Social inequality is harmful and equality is a human right that governments must protect with entitlements and wealth redistribution. Left yes, Right says no.
4. Public utilities and public elections Must be run by and for the public, and that's a key government duty
Left says yes, the right said no.
There's no mix and match, here. Adults who Are coherent have only one ideology! Chaos is not a choice, there's no center.

@Roundandroundwego Yeah we have to realise that every ideal soon becomes an evil We Christians understand it as being part of our sin nature. The left says the people must be taken care of and everyone agrees - until there is no money to support the people because people simply stop producing. I have family in Russia. A family member went to visit them in the late 1990s. The Russian family was proud of their crop. My family from Canada were shocked at how poor the crop was. The Russian side simply worked for the government. The government determined which crop how much fertiliser etc etc etc. The Russians worked their 8 hours then went home for the day. The Canadians were shocked. The crop was in the field with bad weather coming and everyone went home! In Canada the family would be harvesting the crops until the rains came. Needless to say the Russians were importing food. The Russian farmers had no idea about that. With the fall of the USSR Russia is now producing more food that it can use and is exporting huge amounts of food. The left ideal didn't work. My wife was stricken with cancer. She got excellent care and is now cancer free. The leftist ideal worked. My cousin in law had the same cancer and the same system that threaten my wife so well failed my cousin in law completely. She died on the waiting list. The difference? My wife was diagnosed when the government had money and my cousin in law was diagnosed after the government ran out of money. My cousin wanted to pay for his wife's treatment when the government refused. He had worded hard in life and made a sizeable sum of money. The health care system said "NO":. Ideology is never a wise thing.
