I don't believe the US will suffer a total collapse, but instead will simply fall by the wayside and once again turn into the Protectionist, Isolationist country that it was many times before, behaving somewhat like an island unto itself, no different than how the US regarded itself during the first two years of WWII when the US refused to get involved with Europe's problems.

The United States won't collapse, but will instead become like a tiny Pacific island where it's inhabitants will live off the land, planting crops and feeding itself and fostering it's own brand of religion, but not actually participating with any other nation in the world with issues involving trade and commerce.

@swirlie I think there are other examples to look at in Italy. Spain, and France..Italy and France science re-emerges. Spain if the weird American brand of religion still leans on politics...😷
