Strange And Tragic
A man killed his 27-week pregnant wife, while she was on the phone with her brother.
This happened last week in a Seattle suburb. The man (36), was having an argument with his pregnant wife (37). The argument was about sponsoring his wife's family for permanent residence in the US, and having her family live in their large home.
His parents were already living with them. He had brought them earlier from India. Appears as if this was one of the things they agreed to pre-marriage. But he was reneging, claiming that this will be too much trouble, and the arguments were becoming more frequent and intense.
On the night in question, she called her brother and complained about the situation. The brother called the husband and yelled at him. At which point, the husband retrieved a gun from his car, and and returned to the house, where she was back on the phone with her brother, shot her multiple times, and killed her.
The brother called 911 and when the cops arrived, he admitted and said the she was aggravating him by pulling on his beard, which is considered a major insult by Sikhs.
He was arrested for two counts of murder, one for her and one for the unborn baby.
