State of the Union

FactCheck.org

[media=https://youtu.be/Qz9ykIiFa-U?si=eiICfSZ6RBkfbVRs]

Trump deliberately misleads truths and down outright lies on other facts. The longest State of the Union address in history __ now that he can claim __ boasting and bragging on himself, rambling back and forth. Quite frankly trusting any report that comes out of his White House, where he has his goonies, loyalist, where they do anything he says and try to cover up for him in any way they can, no I wouldn't trust it. That is why he demands strict obedience.

I have never seen so many organizations all across the US fact checking any presidency.

I didn't watch but I saw a clip where he said that the tarriffs were paid by foreign countries but in fact 95% of the tariffs were paid by the American consumer.

I saw another clip of them saying that American is winning so much people are saying "Mr. President, please stop winning, I don't know what to do!!"

I'm so glad I'm not American, this is an embarrassement.

The stie of JD Vance's face laughing is also disgusting.

@JimboSaturn I've often wondered about his tariffs - they do affect exports from my country, after all.

I've not been sure if his statements about imposing tariffs on other countries is merely campaigning propaganda, or if he really does believe the exporters pay.

I suppose the 5% is paid by companies trying to cover the costs so they don't lose sales. It might be more relevant if the exporter is an American-owned company operating overseas.

@ArishMell They haven't even reduced the trade deficit, they are a failure.

@JimboSaturn I suppose they can't, really, unless so severe they risk damaging the USA's internal economy by depressing sales there to a drastic extent.
