Dems Flip Texas Senate Seat by 14 points in a District Trump Won by 17 Points

With nearly all votes counted Taylor Rhemet holds a 14 point lead over Leigh Wambsganss. That represents a 31 point swing in a solid red district. Since trump was elected President the Democrats have flipped 21 State Legislative seats.

Let's hope it does some good ..... Does that show that Trump is losing his supporters from coming out to vote the Republican?

Here in Houston only a small percentage voted.

@Charity Yeah, the turnout was low as it usually is in special elections but is shows two things. 1. Dems are fired up and are willing to show up and vote. 2. Republicans are not very enthusiastic about President trump and his policies.

This has been the case across the country in special elections. Since trump was elected the Dems have flipped 21 Republican State Senate seats while the Republicans have flipped none.
