Amazon up to 30,000 / Target 1,000 / federal government estimated 300,000 with job cuts, buyouts, and those pending ...... And they report unemployment is low!

Irony being a large factor behind layoffs is reduction in parcel deliveries from Amazon, which increasingly owns their own fleet. And at some point will deliver others packages too. So goes competition. And then of course add autonomous delivery.
