Israel Air Strikes In Lebanon, Despite Ceasefire Deal

More than 20 Israeli airstrikes hit southern Lebanon overnight in under 30 minutes, destroying a quarry, a concrete plant, and a stone-cutting factory used to rebuild war-damaged towns, with explosions heard as far as Saida. Lebanon’s Health Ministry reported at least one killed and seven injured, while residents described low-flying jets lighting up the sky. Israel claimed the strikes targeted Hezbollah infrastructure despite a ceasefire deal with Lebanon in place since November of last year.

Israel is justified going after the remnants of Hizballah trying to re-arm.

The latter do not want Lebanon to stabilize.

The bigger picture is that Hizballah was created, and financed by Iran's Mullahs to destablilize the region.

Despite 2/3 of the Lebanese (the non Shiites) opposing them, they continue to block progress in Lebanon and impose their will on Lebanon's society, as well rob the government blind.

Israel continues, on daily basis, using mostly drones, strike individuals or weapons depots.

They are justified and the majority of the Lebanese support it.

Opposing Netanyahu's collective punishment, does not mean that everything the IDF does is bad.

@Northwest Killing innocent people is bad.

Please provide a source for the people of Lebanon supporting Israel. From what I read, while they hate Hezbollah, they see Bibi's attacks as against their soverignty and an act of aggression, regardless of the target.

Here's what I said:

Which is not at all what you claimed I said. However, 2/3rd of the Lebanese, have no beef with Israel, though they don't support the Genocide.

That they agree on is that they do not support Hezballah, unilaterally starting a war on Oct 8, in support of Hamas's Oct 7 massacre.

You want my sources? Which language? I am fluent in the languages spoken in the area, and even one that's not "live", but historically important. I also travel to the area a couple of times per year.

The latest major action was Israel blowing up 600 Hezballah bulldozers. They were not designed for reconstruction, and the Lebanese outside of parts of the South and South Beirut, were delighted.

@Northwest A legitimate news source.

A legitimate news source.

Seriously? I was being sarcastic man. Did you read the part where I get the news directly from people there, and through my own visits to both Israel and Lebanon, in the native languages.

I don't get it from the Guardian.

How about Al Jazeera?

How about it? Are you asking how I feel about it? I did take a tour of the Al Jazeera facilities in Qatar once.

It really depends on whether you read it in English or Arabic.

In English, a story goes something like this: Two Palestinians were killed by bystanders when they attempted to run down people at a bus stop in Jerusalem.

In Arabic: Two Palestinians were martyred when zionists shot them as they attempted to run down off duty IDF members as they waited to take the bus back to their bases.

You don't seem to grab that you're asking a guy who lives this shit in real life, and does not get others to interpret for him.

@Northwest I'm a fan of truth and facts.

I'm no fan of terrorist groups but also no fan of Netanyahu.

I'm a fan of truth and facts.

Gee, same for me.

I'm no fan of terrorist groups but also no fan of Netanyahu.

See the above. What Netanyahu did/does and what Hizballah does to terrorize and cause thousands of deaths in Lebanon, are two different things.

It's very important to stay clear of biased opinions.

@Northwest I'm simply concerned for those innocent souls lost in the crossfire between Bibi, Hamas, and Hezbollah.
