Painkillers are now hard to get, the opioid crisis of the 00's has made docs too leery to prescribe them unless your pain is a proven 9/10 out of 10. I know, I had a ruptured ear drum last year that the nurse practitioners at urgent care misdiagnosed, three times in a month and a half time frame, and when it was officially diagnosed thanksgiving night last year, THEY STILL REFUSED TO GIVE ME PAIN MEDS, it felt like an ice pick was digging into my left ear and jaw.
