The lower income brackets have NOT grown by 450X. If interest were the driving factor, the percentages would stay proportional. That's NOT what happened!!


See how, in constant dollars, the lower quintiles got a MUCH LOWER percentage growth?? The "rising tide" is mostly lifting the richest boats!!

@MarmeeMarch obviously it's through housing, welfare, public transportation and education, - planning for people. No Americans want to vote for that! You need higher death rates. It's appropriate for some people to have shorter lives and less leisure. Certainly those who proudly killed socialism destroyed their other options and win death.
