Wholesale egg prices dropped

But when will those results be seen in the stores

Compare the eggs today to the eggs sold 50 / 60 years ago. A change in size, taste and color. Extra large eggs (though they're not really extra large) are sold as jumbos / large eggs or sold is extra large / medium eggs are sold as large / and small eggs are sold as medium / what they sell for small eggs were not sold by the dozen for retail consumers. But then that was 50 to 60 years ago, oh how times have changed.

I read in the 1960s eggs costed 50 to 60 cents a dozen, where I lived they were 19 to 29 cents a dozen. They say that cost is equivalent to a dozen of eggs being $6.65 today, I wonder if those prices are given for excuses made for the prices of today? Reading advertisements of the 1960s egg prices were in the range I stated.

Anyone else out there remember those days!

I have noticed that the size of the eggs go down by one size every winter. When they start selling the proper size again I can compare them to the smaller ones already in the refrigerator. This is cheating the consumers when they do it because eggs are supposed to go by weight, weigh a dozen of them and it probably falls short 2 or 3 ounces. I remember when eggs were on sale in the early-mid 70’s 3 or 4 dozen for a dollar. But back then you could buy canned biscuits for a dime a can and sliced chipped beef packages 4 for a dollar. Made for a cheap breakfast back then.
