If it is true and Amazon decides to leave the country, let them go, tariffs will still apply when items are shipped into the country, so it isn't going to save them anything, they may have bragging rights for standing up for something the Execs of Amazon disagree with, but they are still going to be eating the cost of rebuilding the whole thing from scratch. And as packages will be going through customs on the way into the country. There will be no more speedy deliveries. Snopes say it is false though so I guess we will never know. Personally, I think Amazon can and should let customers know what tariffs cost consumers. You can bet that there will be economists showing the best and worst examples of the effects of tariffs.
