And trump says we are collecting billions, daily. That's what gets me. He picks a number that sounds good to him in the moment, and pukes it out. And without these kinds of outings, another being "signalgate", how would we know?
So really...more ineptitude.

LMAO indeed — it’s like Trump barked “Tariff!” and everyone just looked around and shrugged. Classic case of policy by press conference, where the performance is the point, and the details? Eh, someone else’s problem. Meanwhile, China’s over there sipping jasmine tea, watching the U.S. fumble its own end of the economic rope and saying, “Sure, sure — call it a tariff, we’ll just re-label and reroute.”

The kicker? If nobody’s collecting the tariffs at the ports — no Customs enforcement, no system in place — then it’s basically just an imaginary tax. A tough-on-China pantomime with zero fiscal teeth. All bark, no yuan bite.
