Should Trump consider Joe Manchin for VP slot?

As regular readers know, I consistently advocate for young candidates for every political contest. Manchin may be an exception. He’s a good speaker. Publicly popular. Has a real record which has no bad black marks. He would certainly be able to do the job if something happened to Trump.
A problem is that his age would interfere with running for the top spot in 2028 much less for reelection in 2032. He’s also a white male.
The question is whether his gravitas which is superior to the other contenders and TRUMPS Harris by a LOT would put Trump over the top in a way the other contenders do not. Picking him is a one shot laser focused deal to get Trump elected in 2024. The other contenders each have a good shot of winning a 2028 and 2032 Presidential election which is better for the country and long term better for the GOP.
