Trump and Biden Easter Messages

Trump Easter message of love and hope for all:

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL, INCLUDING CROOKED AND CORRUPT PROSECUTORS AND JUDGES THAT ARE DOING EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO INTERFERE WITH THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION OF 2024, AND PUT ME IN PRISON, INCLUDING THOSE MANY PEOPLE THAT I COMPLETELY & TOTALLY DESPISE BECAUSE THEY WANT TO DESTROY AMERICA, A NOW FAILING NATION, LIKE "DERANGED" JACK SMITH, WHO IS EVIL AND "SICK," MRS. FANI (FAUNI) WADE, WHO SAID SHE HARDLY KNEW THE "SPECIAL" PROSECUTOR, ONLY TO FIND THAT HE SPENT YEARS "LOVING" HER, LONG BEFORE THE GEORGIA PERSECUTION OF PRESIDENT TRUMP BEGAN (AND THEREBY MAKING THE CASE AGAINST ME NULL, VOID, AND ILLEGAL!). AND LAZY ON VIOLENT CRIME ALVIN BRAGG WHO, WITH CROOKED JOE'S DOJ THUGS, UNFAIRLY WORKING IN THE D.A.'S OFFICE, ILLEGALLY INDICTED ME ON A CASE HE NEVER WANTED TO BRING AND VIRTUALLY ALL LEGAL SCHOLARS SAY IS A CASE THAT SHOULD NOT BE BROUGHT, IS BREAKING THE LAW IN DOING SO (POMERANTZ!) WAS TURNED DOWN BY ALL OTHER LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES, AND IS NOT A CRIME. HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Biden Easter message of love and hope to all:

To all those gathering in churches and homes around the world today: Happy Easter.
May God bless and keep you.

One of these was made by a demented, senile old man filled with hate and vitriol. The other is current and future President Biden.

there is no scenario in which biden can win this election... which is a tragedy... but unless someone does something drastic that mad guy will be your president in november
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@FreeLilly Biden will win the election. There is a long time before the election. To put things in perspective, at this point in the 1980 election, Carter was 14 points ahead of Reagan. Reagan won the election handily in November.
FreeLilly · 18-21, F
@windinhishair i hope you are right... but i dont see that happening
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@FreeLilly I do, and for this reason--Trump has an absolute floor around 40% due to his Cult. But he has never received 50% of the vote, and lost the popular vote twice, by 2.8 million and 7.2 million votes, respectively. So his ceiling is below 50% as well. By election time, Trump is likely to be a convicted felon at least once, and possibly in multiple jurisdictions on multiple charges. Many people are talking about voting third party, but that rarely happens when people get to the voting booth. Trump will carry the deep red states, but I believe Biden will carry Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania along with the usual blue states, and that will be enough.
FreeLilly · 18-21, F
@windinhishair the thing is... biden needs to motivate all the potential non voters... and thats not gonna happen.
every sane person is gonna look and say, this 80+ year old guy is the best you can do ? is there really noone better in that whole party that could do a better job ?
and they simply wont go vote... i know i wouldnt. and its like the democrats arent even trying... cause they could to better but count only on "look how terrible the other guy is". and yeah.. with that strategy they deserve whatever happens in november.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@FreeLilly I understand what you are saying, and I wish the Democrats had chosen someone younger to run. But this will be a binary choice, and if people stay home and don't vote, they will deserve what they get and have no claim to complain in the future.

Biden has actually done a pretty good job compared to the presidents in the past 50 years, which doesn't get enough media attention. But he is an old man and the job is a difficult one. A younger man would still be preferable.

When people see the continued deterioration of Trump this year as his indictments push him further into madness, I believe many of those that are in the middle, including traditional Republicans, will end up voting for Biden. If not, you and I will both see the end of democracy in the US in our lifetimes and the rapid decline of a formerly great nation.
FreeLilly · 18-21, F
@windinhishair its not the non voters that are to blame... its the people who nominated biden that are to blame. and guilt tripping people into voting is achieve the opposite. if you dont voter for either you have a better reason to complain then supporting this messed situation. the democrats arent even trying to be the good guy here, they are happy with being the lesser evil... but they are still very very evil. they just count on the other guy being ridiculously comic level evil.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@FreeLilly I respectfully disagree. Non-voters make a choice just like voters do, and have to live with the same consequences. I don't think Biden is evil, and I don't think previous Republican candidates like Romney and McCain were evil. Trump is evil. Choosing not to vote in a binary election is a vote for Trump and fascism.

@FreeLilly Not participating could very well result in a fascist regime replacing democracy. While that would send a message to the Democratic Party, I do not believe non-participation in the 2024 election is the morally right choice.

A few Floridians in 2000 voted for Ralph Nader instead of Al Gore, believing it was the morally right choice. We ended up with George W. Bush as president as a result, with trillions of dollars of additional debt, two wars based on lies, torture sanctioned by the government, and the worst recession since the Great Depression. I doubt many of those Nader voters now believe they made the right choice.

@Justice4All You can’t possibly believe that…🙄The best that can be said economically is that Trump didn’t screw up the trajectory Obama had set…initially. Then Trump made the gaffe of dismissing Covid, which led to both unnecessary deaths and financial disaster. Add to that the kind of division and hatred Trump has stoked and he’s the been worst thing to happen to this country in modern times.

@FreeLilly It is the normal course of events for an incumbent to run for reelection.....and so it is with Joe Biden.

Had Biden given any hint that he would not run again, he would have immediately been labeled a lame duck president, and none of his accomplishments would have taken place.

You need to look at the big picture here. Should Biden win, he won't suddenly decide to become King. His tenure will end after 4 year term. Trump has told you in plain language what he will do. Read about Project 2025. If the contents of this plan does not frighten you, you have no soul.

Every vote counts. This is bigger than Biden. This is an election on democracy vs authoritarian fascist rule.

Biden must win the Electoral College tally. If not, the USA is finished. It will not become America First....it will become America Alone.

@Justice4All How were we better off under Trump? Trump lost over 2 million jobs. He left the nation with higher unemployment than when he started. He still has the two highest budget deficits in history, and added more to the national debt than any other president. More people are employed under Biden, his unemployment rate has been lower than any produced under Trump, and budget deficits have gone down from those Trump had. Biden isn't a racist white supremacist, but perhaps you see that as a feature that Trump was.
