Meanwhile those who voted for Trump showed how deficient they were when they fomented an insurrection designed to subvert the democratic process and stormed the Capitol with the intent of kidnapping and assassinating the congressional delegation to prevent them from certifying the electoral victory of the winning candidate because he wasn’t the one they voted for. They even had t-shirts oriented to telegraph their intentions:
