🚨 Breaking: Biden "Literally" Convinced Strom Thurmond To Vote For The Civil Rights Act

Joe shared this interesting factoid at the 60th anniversary of the creation of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.

Wow! Who knew Joe was such a maverick? There's only a couple of small problems with Joe's statement. Thurmond never voted in favor of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and Biden didn't become a senator until 1973.

A White House spokesperson claims Joe really meant to say he got Thurmond to support the Voting Rights Act of 1980. Just a minor detail 🙄

It wasn’t a mistake. We heard him say it. Possibly due to the aneurysm he suffered, his mental sharpness signify declined and he had no idea what he was talking about. Or he made it up to make himself appear as some kind of civil rights champion. He is not now nor was he ever.
But when he says stuff like this his handlers cringe and try and do damage control, aka walking it’ back.

@soar2newhighs I'm sure this "appearance" was in response to the democrats losing support of the minority vote.

This poll was taken before his arrest in Atlanta. The mugshot has backfired and has significantly increased his popularity among African Americans.
