Wow! Who knew Joe was such a maverick? There's only a couple of small problems with Joe's statement. Thurmond never voted in favor of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and Biden didn't become a senator until 1973.
A White House spokesperson claims Joe really meant to say he got Thurmond to support the Voting Rights Act of 1980. Just a minor detail 馃檮
