I’m glad JFK became President in 1961. Do you believe that was an honestly conducted election and the actual real result?

[big]I have no clue or an opinion. I’m curious what people believe and for those that respond I hope you provide an explanation for your opinion. I’m not asking for proof or anything like that. Just wondering why you believe what you believe. I personally pledge to not belittle or quibble with any responses on this thread. I will delete any and all trolling. [/big]

4 trunk loads of ballots were delivered night of election to Cook county . Majority were all deceased

Apparently, JFK got all the dead people vote in Chicago. And he looked healthier than Nixon during the televised debate, which helped him, while concealing a whole host of serious health problems. (He didn't slump in his seat after the first shot hit him in Dallas because he was propped up by a back brace. Just one of his health issues.)

Thank you for providing the interesting information. @graphite
One must stop at Cooke county, Illinois cemeteries and search for answers. Oh, wait…dead men tell no tales.

You'd have to ask the Honorable Richard J Daley how he was able to convince so many deceased voters to support JFK in the "City That Works".

Never thought about it since I was too young to take an interest at the time. I would dare to say that he had the backing of the Catholic Church and that may have had something to do with his winning along with maybe his mafia connections. His dad was a really crooked.

I honestly never thought about it. Nixon never complained to my knowledge. I guess one would have to see how close individual states were....

I seem to recall inferences of “funny business” relating to Chicago Mayor Richard Daly. @originnone

There’s a shit ton of JFK conspiracy theories. This ain’t one of them though .
According to history, Nixon won Hawaii, but despite all that, dem alternative electors disputed it, and Nixon as vice prez let them have it, not wanting any legal battles in the Hawaiian court, giving Kennedy the White House.
@NativePortlander1970 that's how I understand it as well.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
I did not know that. Thank you. @NativePortlander1970 @BizSuitStacy
@jackjjackson You're so very welcome.
