@BohemianBabe It was a comedy to not be serious. I also don't recall Mrs. Doubtfire wearing suggestive clothing to minors. Dont pretend you haven't seen the clips of the controversial drag show for kids performances. Neon sign reading "It won't lick itself" anyone?

@BritishFailedAesthetic Those are fringe cases. This would be like banning all ballet performances because of a few ballerinas who did something inappropriate around children.

@BohemianBabe No. This sort of thing is being pushed on children like never before- gay kids characters, little childrens comic books such as that one about a boy dressing up as 'nature girl' (forgot the title), cartoon characters using they/them pronouns, etc. Would I watch an adult drag show with a beer? Sure. It just isn't a place for kids though

Everything else you mentioned is fine. Kids should be taught that gay people exist, just like we teach them that straight people exist.

@BohemianBabe They will know that gay people exist- one of their classmates or friends will have two mums or dads. Bring back pre-2010s childhood curricula and let a kid be a kid ffs

@BritishFailedAesthetic So if they're going to find out that gay people exist anyway, why is it wrong to let them see media with gay couples? We already let them see media with straight couples. And this way, we let them know that it's okay if their friend has two days.
