Dilberts' creator Scott Adams said pollsters had found “nearly half of all Blacks are not OK with white people,” and that meant Black people constituted “a hate group.”

Shortly thereafter his comic strip was dropped by numerous news papers.

In my experience that would be called a career limiting comment. Open mouth and insert foot.
If thirty percent of white people are outlandish archie bunker trump supporters does that condemn the entire subset of the species with a recessive MC1R gene?

things would have gone better for Scott Adams if he'd had one of his comic strip characters say this. But then again, so few people read newspapers - or comic strips - these days.
