3rd longest river drying up. Poyang Lake dries up

Why isn't this bigger news in North America? Do the governments in N A not want people to understand what the forseeable future is? If there were supply chain problems before what will the heatwave in China do to supply and demand?

You have too many people that think the water shortage doesn’t exist sooo it not main stream. I know for a fact that globally we are in trouble because a lot of the decision makers don’t pay much attention to it due to the fact that we will NOT run out of water in our lifetime but we are well on the way for the next few generations
