3rd longest river drying up. Poyang Lake dries up

Why isn't this bigger news in North America? Do the governments in N A not want people to understand what the forseeable future is? If there were supply chain problems before what will the heatwave in China do to supply and demand?

Where is all the water going? It doesn't just disappear. Who is getting more rain now? I never read about that.
@hunkalove 70 day heatwave. China doesn't get extreme heat but it's been aroung 100F for over a month. They are shutting down offices, manufacturing because the powe grid can't keep up.

@Pitchblue Yes, it evaporates, but then it turns into rain somewhere else. It can't just disappear.
Pakistan. Have you seen the flooding there?
hunkalove · 70-79, M
@Pitchblue No. I don't even own a TV.
@hunkalove None of this is on TV.

@hunkalove the problems are because of coastal up drafts along the coasts which dry up the air. So what happens is the rain gets dumped back into the oceans. Which cause the oceans to rise.

This is the case all over the world. Same for Italy as well as western America.

This actually was on the news on ABC 7 here in California in explanation of Hoover dam in Nevada drying up.

@DeWayfarer The only thing I could think of is that it's getting dumped into the oceans. Thanks.
