3rd longest river drying up. Poyang Lake dries up

Why isn't this bigger news in North America? Do the governments in N A not want people to understand what the forseeable future is? If there were supply chain problems before what will the heatwave in China do to supply and demand?

@SW-User The reservoirs are drying up. Hydropower is crippled and China is firing up Coal Plants again. This is extremely serious for the planet but the media pretends it's not happening. Like it will rain and the Lake will fill right back up again. Same thing is happening in Colorado.
