What is the first news story you remember being broadcast on television (as a child)?

Mine was on a television like this, in black and white and it was of the assassination of JFK.

Main one that comes to mind was The Challenger explosion, our teacher rolled in the TV put on CBC and we had to watch it over and over all day. 😔
